Commissioned by the DCINY Premiere Project, this performance includes the world premiere of La Avispa Brava for children’s voices by Venezuelan composer Alberto Grau, conducted by choral conductor Maria Guinand. Graus’ La Doncella is conducted by Venezuelan choral conductor Cristian Grases. The Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra also performs directed by Dr. Ernest Pereira.
